Jennifer Chapman is a writer, actress, burlesque performer, comic, humorist and the brains behind the blog The Lady’s Lounge
Synopsis
Born in 1970 in Montreal Quebec Canada, Jennifer spent her childhood summers in Westchester New York and then grew up from the age of 8 years old, in British Columbia. She attended the Gastown Acting Studio in Vancouver for a short while, graduated from AMPRO Photography school and studied Jazz Vocals at Concordia University.
Jennifer has been singing and acting from the age of 8 years old. She began her Burlesque career, performing and touring with the Fluffgirl Burlesque Review in 2003
She is the co-founder and former co-producer of Montreal’s Diary of a Lost Circus Burlesque Cabaret, she has appeared in a handful of short independent and feature length films, and performs regularly with both The Candyass Club Cabaret and Blue Light Burlesque, and independently in a variety of other burlesque shows, cabarets, dinner theaters, and festivals here in Montreal and internationally; including Burlesk Goes North 2004 (Canada), Toronto Burlesque Festival 2010 (Canada), Montreal Burlesque Festival 2012 (Canada), C’est Magnifique Tokyo Burelsque Festival (Japan), and Vermont Burlesque Festival 2014 (U.S.)

She lives with her girlfriend and far too many domesticated pets, in Montréal Québec Canada.
Her parents Marie-France MacDonald and Richard Chapman are both New York born artist. Her mother is an artist, writer, singer, actress and an acting and singing coach in New Jersey. Her father a musician and luthier living in Canada.
